Description

Employment, Education & Training Coaching for 16-18 year olds.   Do you want to work but are finding it hard to know what to do? Are you worried that you don’t have the experience to take the first step? Our Employment Coach knows that there are many reasons why someone isn’t in work, education or training. Completing an application form or attending an interview is a final step into finding employment, education or training. We can help you to believe in yourself and support you into work or training but first it’s about discovering your talents, interests and confidence. For some we have helped, the first biggest step can be leaving the house. You will work on a one to one basis with an Employment Coach. They will meet you regularly and help you to think about what you enjoy doing, what you are good at and what you may like to do in the future. Your coach will work alongside you to put together a plan that breaks down your goals into manageable steps and we will support you every step of the way to help you achieve these. Due to COVID 19 most of this work is currently being under taken over the phone or by using video conferencing (available in South Ribble and Chorley).  Referral timescales: Depends on capacity but in general Employment Coach will be in touch within two weeks to do an inital assessment
